Community lists
A community list is a closed circle: you get in on request, if the owner accepts you, and from the outside there is nothing to see. It's the missing piece between "share a link" and "sell to your friends": a shared, chosen space where everyone sells their own things too. Colleagues, school parents, neighbours in a building, or a whole village.
A closed circle, in your hands
When creating a list, choose the "Community" visibility. From then on, the list has no spectators: it has members. You decide who gets in, one by one, and you can remove someone at any time.
Everything else stays the same: items, offers and messaging work as they do everywhere on BrikaBroke. Only the door is different.
How it works, step by step
You create the list as "Community". Someone who discovers it can apply, with a message to introduce themselves. You read, then approve, or not. You can also invite people directly from your contacts, with no application needed.
Every application is a real request, not an anonymous click: the message tells you who is knocking, and why.
What non-members see: nothing
This is the central guarantee. Until you approve someone, they see neither your items, nor your prices, nor what is selling, only a way to ask to join.
No teaser "to whet the appetite", no blurred photos that already say too much. A community list shows nothing, to anyone, until the door is opened.
Community or private: your call
In a community list, approved members publish their own items. It's the permanent flea market of a building, a village, an association: one place, held by someone trusted, where everyone brings their finds.
Rather be the only seller, behind the same closed door? Choose the "Private" visibility: same requests, same guarantees, but only you publish items.
The inner circle
Your things, your people. The kids' clothes, the family furniture, the things you'd rather pass on to someone you'll see again: a private list reserved for ten chosen people is enough. Nothing leaves the circle.
Nobody needs to know you're selling the bedroom dresser, except the people it might go to.
The village, the neighbourhood, the building
One community list, and the neighbourhood has its permanent flea market: everyone offers their finds, everyone knows where to look.
You get in because you're from around here. The building, the village association, the school parents: the person holding the list approves the neighbours, and the door stays closed to everyone else.
Selling without the spotlight
When your name is known, in your town, your profession, or well beyond, selling in the open isn't an option. Every listing becomes a piece of information about you: what you own, what you're letting go of, what it's worth.
Private and community lists let you choose who gets in, one by one. Everyone else sees nothing: not your items, not your prices. Add a pseudonym, never your real name, and you sell like everyone else, without everyone knowing.
The guarantees, in black and white
No item or price is ever visible to non-members. Applications go through you: nobody gets in without your approval, and you can remove a member at any time.
The list's link is not indexed by search engines, and your pseudonym remains your public face: your real name is never derived from your identity, nor shown without your decision.
