Terms of use

These terms of use govern access to and use of the BrikaBroke service. By creating an account, you accept them in full.

Last updated: July 7, 2026

1. Purpose of the service

BrikaBroke is a social network for reuse: it lets you group items into lists, share them with a link, and offer them for sale within your circle of trust, friends, then friends of friends.

The service connects sellers and buyers; it does not replace them in concluding or completing sales.

2. Access and account

You register by email or via a Google account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials confidential.

The service is intended for adults; a minor may use it only under the responsibility and with the consent of their legal guardian. A user may hold only one personal account.

3. Sales between individuals

BrikaBroke handles no online payment: no money passes through the platform. Payment and handover happen directly between members, in person.

BrikaBroke charges no commission on transactions and is not a party to the sale contract. Items offered must be lawful, match their description, and be items you rightfully own.

4. Prohibited conduct and content

The following are prohibited, among others: selling illegal, dangerous, counterfeit or regulated goods; hateful, harassing or misleading speech; impersonation; unauthorized collection of other members' data; and any attempt to circumvent the visibility or safety rules.

5. Premium subscription

Some advanced features are offered through a paid Premium subscription (see the Pricing page). Payment is handled by our provider Stripe; BrikaBroke does not store your card details.

The subscription can be cancelled at any time from your profile; the benefits remain active until the end of the period already paid for.

6. Ownership of content

You keep ownership of the content you publish. You grant BrikaBroke a limited license, strictly necessary to display and operate the service, for example to show your items to people in your circle.

7. Liability

BrikaBroke provides a connection service "as is" and cannot be held liable for the quality, conformity or successful completion of transactions between members. Each member remains responsible for their listings and exchanges.

8. Suspension, termination and changes

In the event of a breach of these terms, BrikaBroke may suspend or delete an account. You can delete yours at any time from your profile.

BrikaBroke may update these terms; significant changes will be signalled to you, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the version in force.

9. Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts. You may also use the European online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
